Developing an in-page interactive tool for online conveyancing

I was called in by the team working on the Elephant Conveyancing website to help with the development of the content management system and front-end development of the website.
I was able to review their initial and preferred design proposal - and create a website that closely matched their needs - whilst giving them lots of flexibility in content options - allowing them to edit most areas themselves.
We worked with the animators to ensure the video portion of the page could be displayed optimally at various resolutions and on varying network speeds. We also tested other elements of the website on mobile devices to ensure a consistent experience for visitors.
Elephant Conveyancing is very much about giving customers a fast, streamlined, open and honest experience when buying or selling a house - the website needed to reflect this from the very first page load.
After the initial work on the website I was called back in to work on the quote tool. The main aim of this tool was to be a single page application - within the web page… and introduce some movement. The tool needed to be really easy to use - whilst collecting quite an array of data from the vistitor so an accurate quote can be created. The tool also needed to work well on a range of mobile, handheld and desktop devices.
Finally the tool needed to offer a range of options at the end of the process.
Taking the designs provided by the client I was able to faithfully produce a tool the delivered exactly what the client needed - including generating the all important quote - and offering to email the client a copy. This tool is live on the website now - so if you're looking to buy, sell or remortgage your home - its well worth doing your conveyancing with elephant!
