Fully Content Managed
We worked with the team at Christ Church Academy from Stone in Staffordshire to create a website that would showcase the school, creating a design that reflected the branding and values of the school. Christ Church Academy are part of a multi-academy trust, the website for Christ Church will be used to create the designs for other schools in the trust.
The school team administering the schools website had experienced issues with updating content on the previous site. The school team had a clear view on the type of design they wanted and had documented their requirements. We worked closely with them to make sure these were delivered and further enhanced with our ideas.
The advanced content management system has been implemented on this site allowing the school to add new pages under each of the menu headings as required - allowing them to add content, images, links and embedded videos. Essentially, the school manages all the content on the site through the custom CMS.
The website has an easy to use image upload facility, allowing resizing and cropping of images within the content management system, this was developed in response to feedback from our clients about difficulty in editing photographs and images for websites.
The site also has a school closed and anouncement system which is designed to allow the school to quickly an easily convey a closure.
Additional content management functionality was created to allow the Governors to manage their content more effectively.
The website has letters home and news section which is all content managed and allows visitors to the website to filter on year group, making it easier for parents and carers to find information quickly and easily.
The website was launched in autumn 2016, with additional functionality being added as required.
